Bim Bam Belge, a brand of Dans la boite SRL, was born in January 2021 following the success of the La Boite Locale project launched in August 2020. Our mission is to promote and distribute entirely Belgian products, working exclusively with local producers and small businesses. It's in our DNA to value the work of our artisans.

Bim Bam Belge in figures

Today Bim Bam Belge has :

  • Made over 4,000 deliveries throughout Belgium,
  • Over 100,000 bottles in stock,
  • More than 100 partner producers,
  • Turned €2,000 in capital into over €200,000 in sales in less than two years,
  • More than 160,000 products delivered throughout Belgium.

Outlook for this year

Bim Bam Belge is preparing to take new steps in its development. The company intends to activate its distribution network by hiring a full-time sales profile, which will strengthen its relationships with its partners. At the same time, it intends to invest in state-of-the-art logistics equipment to triple its current storage area.

Bim Bam Belge is enthusiastic about these next steps and confident in its ability to consolidate its position as a leading distributor of Belgian products. The company is determined to meet the needs of its customers, while continuing to grow.

Development of the logistics division

Product deliveries have increased considerably since the end of 2022. In less than a year, Bim Bam Belge has succeeded in growing its transport business for producers and has optimized its delivery rounds. Thanks to this increased flow, deliveries to our B2B partners are increasingly profitable. The target for this year is to reach 180 drops per month, all segments combined. This target will generate a gross margin sufficient to cover the company's fixed costs.

In recent months, Bim Bam Belge has focused on consolidating its logistics offering. By increasing the storage area, the warehouse will have the capacity to store up to 250 pallets for partners. In addition, to boost profitability, a duty-free zone will be created. This zone will enable producers to store their products in the warehouse without having to prepay excise duties. This solution will increase storage volumes and make the entire space more profitable.

Development of the commercial center

  • B2B: In order to stabilize B2B sales, it is necessary to hire a dedicated person. As can be seen from the table below, business sales have fallen while logistics revenues have risen (see table above). This demonstrates the investment that has been made to develop the logistics activity and shows the need for investment in the sales division.

  • B2C: B2C sales are stable and require little time investment. Thanks to the vending machines, sales are made every day, enabling us to maintain a constant cash flow. To increase this flow, investments in further machines will be made in the course of this year.

Current overview and valuation

Bim Bam Belge will raise a maximum of €200,000 in this financing round to support its growth and invest in logistics equipment. The current maximum pre-financing valuation is €881,034.

This valuation was carried out according to several formulas proposed by several people from the Solvay Business School in Brussels.

Various elements were taken into consideration: IBITDA valuation, revenue progression, cash flow evolution, forecast accuracy and the valuation of other startups at comparable stages.

Use of funds

The funds raised will be used to support growth and improve both business segments.

  • B2B - Business development (40%): In order to support its growth, Bim Bam Belge is looking to hire a full-time senior sales profile. As part of business development, this profile will be tasked with activating the distribution network in order to break even by the end of 2024. Several investments will also be made to optimize the company's online presence.
  • B2C - Increase sales (20%): To meet demand from two major customers, Bim Bam Belge plans to acquire five new vending machines. These strategic investments will enable the company to gain a foothold in the vending machine market and position itself as a leading player, while improving its visibility and offering greater accessibility to its products.
  • Warehouse optimization (20%): Bim Bam Belge plans to triple its storage area by investing in pallet racks and a forklift truck, in order to develop its logistics division. This space optimization will drastically reduce logistics costs for the company, significantly increasing warehouse profitability.
  • Marketing (20%): Bim Bam Belge plans to invest in displays and visual material to increase product visibility and boost B2B sales. To optimize the brand's visibility, Bim Bam Belge intends to fully wrap its delivery vehicles.
