CEO
Tan, founder, CEO, and CMO of biaNergy, has a background in economics, political science, and technology. He has successfully launched and exited multiple tech ventures, driving innovation in various fields.
He revolutionized VOIP communication by founding Freitelnet.de, developing latency-reducing codecs to optimize data transmission, and exiting successfully in 2002. He later built a pioneering data uploading and broadcasting firm, reaching peak success in 2004 and exiting in 2010.
From 2014 to 2017, Tan developed a groundbreaking colorable, bendable, and transparent concrete for a major conglomerate. Since 2019, he has been reshaping the future of energy by bringing wireless electricity to the world.

Arjen Veerman
COO
Arjen has a background in public management, specializing in knowledge management in public-private partnerships. Since the age of 22, he has held management roles in startups and scaleups, focusing on key indicators for professionalization and growth.
A few years later, he founded a niche consultancy firm dedicated to scaling early-stage companies and co-founded LifeCode Solutions, a MedTech company.
Beyond his professional career, Arjen serves as an elected member of the South-Holland parliament, representing the Christian Democratic Party.

Herbert Verweij
Board member
A dynamic investment professional with experience in various sectors, including luxury goods, telecommunications and investment business. Proven success in leading roles at Vialuxury, Reppel Koeriers, and Reitsma Telecom. Strong expertise in marketing tangibles and real estate business. Known for a commercial mindset, connecting, mediating, and clear communication, Herbert founded Bellovision an investment advisory in Amsterdam, gaining valuable insight into capital markets, investor relations, and supporting start-ups and scale-ups.

Tim Muntefering
CTO
Tim has a background in Energy Design from Walter-Gropius-Berufskolleg and a BSc in Energy Informatics from Hochschule Ruhr West.
He has worked as a fuel cell and system analyst at Gas und Wärme Institut, contributed to the energy informatics faculty at Hochschule Ruhr West, and specialized in fuel cell and system analysis at Kaiser Werbetechnik Group.
Currently engaged in a scientific project contract for the quarter, Tim will rejoin Nicola B.V. upon completion of seed financing. Until then, he remains available on an on-demand basis.
